Eighth album from the Grammy-winning Chicago rapper, singer, and producer called “one of the most cerebral and enigmatic artists alive” by AllMusic. Produced by frequent collaborator Soundtrakk, who also produced debut Lupe Fiasco solo single “Kick Push” [2006]. The set, which features a guest appearance from Chicago singer and rapper Nayirah on lead single “Autoboto,” was written and recorded in 72 hours. “Autoboto” streamed upon release on Okayplayer. Further press commitments for the new set from Complex and XXL. Recent standalone single “100 Chicagos” premiered on Respect Mag [“an ethereal and anthemic lyrical exercise”]. The new singles follow HOUSE [2020], a pandemic-themed set and collaboration with producer Kaelin Ellis that streamed upon release on Complex. He’s released four gold albums, including Lasers [2011], which topped the Billboard 200. Second album The Cool [2007] was recently the subject of a lengthy retrospective piece in The Triibe [“’The Cool’ has aged beautifully”]. Lupe Fiasco has collaborated with Consequence, Kanye West, Big K.R.I.T., Jill Scott, Trey Songz. He was featured on Gaming While Black in late March.
