Written by KATSEYE’s Lara Raj alongside acclaimed songwriters Ross Golan and Amy Allen, and produced by Ross Golan with co-production by Lara Raj, “Unloveu” was first introduced as an exclusive physical bonus track and embraced by fans throughout KATSEYE’s sold-out WILDWORLD tour. The song captures the quiet realization of finally letting go of someone who once had a hold on you. Rather than framing heartbreak as one dramatic turning point, “Unloveu” traces the gradual process of moving through hurt and recognizing that feelings that once seemed impossible to escape have finally begun to fade.

With vocals and harmonies at the forefront, “Unloveu” is raw yet restrained. Its repeated title becomes almost a mantra, marking not an act of bitterness or revenge, but the realization that healing has already happened. The track reveals a softer, more mature dimension of KATSEYE’s sound and offers one of the group’s most emotionally reflective moments to date.

On August 14, 2026, KATSEYE released their third EP, WILD, via HYBE x Geffen Records. The five-song EP debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, marking the biggest girl-group debut this decade and biggest U.S. girl-group debut in nearly 20 years, and features the Billboard Hot 100 hits “PINKY UP,” “Animal,” and “Hootie Frutti.” WILD follows the group’s GRAMMY-nominated 2025 EP BEAUTIFUL CHAOS, which debuted in the Billboard 200’s Top 5. Within the WILD era, “Unloveu” provides a more intimate counterpoint to the project’s bigger, more outward-facing moments, further showcasing the range of KATSEYE’s artistry.
